pleasant place with attentive staff and good food. quiet spot adjacent to the waterfront, a cafe in town, a five minute drive away, and the popular local bistro.
Very dated bathroom.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Albi. The hotel was fabulous and gorgeous, I enjoyed it, especially the river view. The location was amazing and the staff was pleasant and exceptional during the whole stay! Plus, Galerie Memoires was within a 25-minute walk from the property. The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful.

Friendliness and help given by the reception staff. The setting is ideal for lazing and relaxing with views across the Tarn river and countryside beyond. Especially pleasing is the setting of the dining area where we had the benefit of eating outside - even in mid September thanks to the hotal providing shawls for the ladies (& even some men). An example of their care for the detail.
The restaurant staff whilst friendly did not match up to the standards of their reception colleagues. On the 2 occasions we had the dinner in the hotel we had to wait in excess of 30 minutes before anyone came to provide a menu and on the second occasion we fethced our own. That same night they forgot to deliver our desert so we gave up. Shame as the setting and food are good.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to a staggering cathedral as well as the popular local bistro in many towns between both coasts. Units with balcony out...

The hotel is flawless, incredibly beautiful with a wonderful view of the river. Charming and attentive staff always on hand. Spacious room with a comfortable interior and a separate walk-in shower. Fantastic area with a marvelous and incredible location next to an impressive formal garden.

The location and the attitude of the staff were excellent.
The food. We each picked one of the two main options for our main course and both were utterly tasteless and certainly not worth the money. There was no flavour. The decor. It's about time someone updated the interior as it's still locked into the Seventies, some of pretty horrible.

Staff where excellent. We arrived too late to eat but the night porter showed us to our rooms and opened the bar to provide drinks and super nibbles. Good breakfast although at 20 euros it shoud be, reception staff gave us maps in hints on what to do and local restaurants. The pool overlooking the river was a quiet but with service available, a good place to relax after a day sightseeing. Good restauant with friendly service, again overlooking the river.
Had to drive into town for other restauants, but you cannot have it both ways.

Well-maintained pool and on-site parking available. the hotel boasts a nice building and rooms with balconies. - Excellent service provided by incredibly nice staff. - Stunning setting with a short walk to a popular local bistro. - Conveniently located between both coasts and the river, just 10 meters away.

Very nice pool, very nice river view (if you got a river view room), good breakfast.
The first room was a so-called "garden view" superior deluxe room but it was a view of the garage and the driveway. After I complained, nothing was done. The dinners are mediocre.

I always choose this place for my stay because the staff helped me with local delivery. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, valet parking, luggage storage, and a seasonal outdoor pool. I also enjoy the massages, restaurant, and the fact that pets are allowed. Coming back for a city trip.

The Bar is named after Toulouse-Lautrec, who apparently liked to drink. The huge pool is perfect for lounging around and avoiding exercise. Lovely views from the balcony and terrace. The hotel is conveniently located near a variety of tourist attractions and events. The museum has big art.
Was a bit disappointed there were no herons, kites or kingfishers at the pool.
